Today I got paid for my first contract for freelance legal counceling.
Of course, I can't spill too many details, but I'm rather thrilled by it. For quite some time I thought there's no place for a FOSS enthusiastic lawyer trying to specialise in IT and "IP" law in Slovenia, but this contract made me optimistic again :]
Although meddling with an international business contract, ToS and PP for the first time was very challenging, it was tremendous fun as well! I hope it's possible to make a living by doing this …especially if in the future there would be more FOSS involved ;)
hook out → waiting for snow in the UK to melt, so my brand spankin' new ThinkPad T400s can reach me at least in the first week of the new year
