A few days ago it dawned on me in which aspect smokers are more priviliged compared with non-smokers.

Why? Because they have such a handy excuse to talk to a person they fancy … "Do you have a light/smoke?".
It's not something us – non-smokers can do. I mean "Excuse me, miss. But you wouldn't happen not to have a light/smoke?." just doesn't work…
So, we need a bit more courage and inventive strategy to break the ice without sounding like complete morons. Oh, well …such is life :]
