Hook's Humble Homepage also packs a new CAPTCHA system. I decided to change it because:
- I was not completely happy with the old captcha_pack's performance (it let through a few smarter spam bots);
- the reCAPTCHA module looks nicer and is easier to maintain (with the
captcha_packI had to chech for each version which system was faulty); - by solving a reCAPTCHA the user helps digitise old books, newspapers and radio shows;
- last but not least, reCAPTCHA has an option to listen to an old radio show, meaning those with poor eyesight or blind can pass the CAPTCHA as well as contribute to a good cause.
I hope you like the change (unless you are a spammer, of course)
